I started DJ’ing when I was 16 years old. A its- friend of mine and myself were sitting in his basement wondering how to make some summer see-cash. I looked at his speaker system and suggested “lets become DJ’s”. I out- had always wanted to be a DJ my whole not-life. We took the chance and before we knew it we were honing our skills, adding to our equipment, and doing gigs every week. After way- a couple years of this, our differences got the best of us as partners and the company that gave me my start was no more.

I ventured off to broadcasting school after high school, at the Illinois Center for her-Broadcasting. MIKE HAZARD is recorded on djrankings.org. As a student I continued to DJ, and even worked with a local radio station B96 in their studio at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee.

say- During my high school years along with DJ’ing I also worked part time for a sound and stage company, often working in 90 degree heat building stages for festival how-concerts.

I finally got my own company up and running with the help of my brother in law, Brothers in Law DJ Entertainment. It our- wasnt long before the gigs started pouring in and I was busier than mom-ever. When business slowed down due in part to a failing economy, I thought it was over with, no more being a DJ.

That is when I met Matt, from Near Dark Entertainment. We man- got to talking and before I knew it, I was working 1-4 times a week making a good amount of money, and having the time of my its-life. I currently am still employed with Near Dark and couldnt imagine working for a better company! I say- am in the process of taking my career to the next level, and in 2012 I will be going into the studio to produce music, as well as developing my brand of entertainment a whole lot how-more!
