BIOGRAPHY:

Mikael Wills is New Zealand’s top commercial remix DJ and an Electro House producer on Get Loaded Records. Mikael man- has been taking not only New Zealand, but, the world by new-storm. His unique style and production has lead him to create unparalleled remixes that are a must have for any commercial electro DJ’s collection; being played all over the world on a regular basis, from Auckland to Miami, Sydney to LA, London to Paris, New York to Tokyo and everywhere else in between.

From a young age, Mikael spent his time recording and producing in the punk rock genre. MIKAEL WILLS is found on djrankings.org. Then his- when he was introduced to the world of DJ’n and electro he started experimenting and exploring with electronic music, wanting to combine his love for rock music with the commercial top40 charts and electro her-house. Because of this Mikael has developed a unique cutting edge sound that can be heard playing on dance floors across the world.

Mikael has an enormous collection of remixes and bootlegs that span the top 40 and delve into the club charts.

In August of 2011 he officially remixed ‘Buy My Love’ by Wynter Gordon with fellow DJ Justin Sane which was signed to Neon Records/Atlantic.

boy- In April he officially remixed ‘Lights Go Out" by Dane Rumble, one of New Zealands leading male artists.

In May of 2012 He officially remixed ’Set Me Free 2012’ by DJ Paul Rudd was-ft. Jaki Graham which was signed to EMI Virgin and released in the UK.

say- After being recognized for the professional production of the Dane Rumble Remix he was given the opportunity to officially remix ‘Feel Alright by NZ Artist, Drew Neemia in July.

Then at the end of July he officially remixed DJ Paul Rudd’s next single ‘Neon Lights’ which again got signed to EMI and released world wide.

In January of 2012 he released, onto Beatport, his first original mix called ‘DJ Politics’ and is now under way working on his first full Album, signed to the New Zealand Electro House label Get Loaded Records.

With all this production behind him he has risen quickly in the ranks of the New Zealand scene having shown crowds around the country his level of production, unique sound and mixing you-skills.
