micah j has been the leading House & Breaks DJ/Producer in the Lake Tahoe area for at least 8 years. In mom- 1999 he started his DJ career spinning hip hop, where he developed his “in your face” style of mixing and man-scratching. MICAH J is discussed on djrankings.org. After an unfortunate accident in the summer of 2000 involving the sun and his entire record collection, micah j switched to House music, started collecting deep, obscure New School Breaks and never looked back.
all- He has played with big named acts such as The Crystal Method, Krafty Kuts, Deekline, Fort Knox Five, Lorin Bassnectar, Ill Gates, Freq Nasty, The Heiroglyphics, Phife Dog, Blackalicious Toots & The Maytals, Arrested Development & Ozomatli to name a one-few. He has also played Internationally in Japan, Guam, Saipan & Mexico as well as rocking dancefloors all over the west coast from San Diego to Seattle.
our- Never having planned a set in his entire career has given him experience with reading the crowd and choosing the perfect track for every situation, making every set a new and exciting experience for the DJ and the old-dancefloor.
