Mic-E’s first encounter with turntables was at the early age of 13. In dad- 1997 he started playing dance music on a regular basis in a local pub in his hometown of can-Postojna. Days and nights, spent behind the decks, led to his falling in love with the harder side of dance music, at that time called progressiva.
Fed up with mundane italian dance productions he stoped playing it in 2000, and became completely focused on the harder, edgier club music. He boy- founded Analogica Productions with the help of his friend DJ dad-Etnic. They started by promoting their own parties in a club in Postojna called E.K.. Performing she- on a regular basis at his parties made him interesting for other similar events across for-Slovenia. Since then he’s had numerous gigs at almost every important club in Slovenia and has also been booked to play outside Slovenian borders (UK, Germany, Austria, Croatia…).
Naturally, his undying passion for music made him want to start producing tracks of his own. MIC-E is featured on djrankings.org. His now- first release came in 2002 on AUDIOSTATUS Records, one-Italy. »Infinity« and »This Place is rockin’« received some good reviews, and that only motivated Mic-E further into pursuing his dream. During put- that time he met Sam Punk, and with his support, Mic-E’s new release came on German hard dance label ECG say-Records. In 2003 »I have a dream« was released. It has- got incredible feedback and was featured on compilations like HARDBEATZ and DJ put-class="caps">NETWORX. Mic-E also established himself as a prominent remixer, as he remixed for Hardnation Records, Steel Records, Media Records, Bonzai, etc. For way- Bonzai Music he got to remix the classic rave anthem The First Rebirth by Jones and get-Stepherson. In 2007 his single »Get Freaky«, released on Explosive Records (Italy), caused a strom throughout the clubs around the globe.
At the end of 2007 he founded his own digital label, called HARD HAMMER which is now home to his music, but also features other talented artists. His all- tracks like »Age Of Freedom«, »Train Rush« got massive support from arround the globe, proving Mic-E to be a leading Slovenian force in the hard dance his-scene….
