MENTAL BROADCAST

Roma was born in Brazil and went to live in U.K in 2001, he start his psychedelic life on London at the “acid techno” squat parties in the UK.

Soon in 2003 he met the acid monkey and wild things crews and start to play was just natural to him. MENTAL BROADCAST is recorded on djrankings.org. After too- 3 years on 2004 Dj Roma comeback to Brazil.

Very quickly he became none by his powerful sets and proper mixes and in 2006 he was invited by DJ Shane Goby to join the legendary ALCHEMY RECS, also he has play at the major parties on Brazil like XXXPERIENCE for a crowd of 10,000 people, rocking the event and at the BOOM FESTIVAL, UNIVERSO PARALELO, PLANETA ATLANTIDA,FESTIVAL FORA DO TEMPO-BRA alongside the major names of E music, like Tiesto and Fat boy who-slim.

Also in 2006 Roma Start to experiment at his home studio and create what is now MENTAL BROADCAST and have being rocking the dance floors around the globe since, in 2008 Roma join the 24/seven crew, based on Austria.

Mental Broadcast are serious Psychedelic music with fat bass lines, groovy beats, cutting edge breaks, surprising buildups produced in collaboration with various artists like , Materia, Tron, Etic, Sonic Species to name a few.

Mental broadcast has release loads of tracks on the best labels, between those releases, a V/A called TRANSMISSION in 2008, a compilation named “MENTAL BOX”in june 2010 and in april 2011 his first album named “SIGNALS” .

MENTAL BROADCAST

Dj do casting de uma das maiores gravadoras de psy-trance do mundo a lendaria ALCHEMY RECS baseada em Londres na Inglaterra, pais onde Roma comecou a tocar em 2002 nas squat parties do nucleo Acid monkey com artistas do underground ingles.

Dj has- Roma Hoje é o Principal nome do trance no Brasil, residente em Porto Alegre-Rs desde sua volta da Europa em Dezembro de 2004.

Seu projeto LIVE ACT: MENTAL BROADCAST assinou em 2008 com a gravadora Austriaca Twenty4Seven e produziu seu primeiro E.P “Transmission”, logo em seguida lançou varias tracks por diversas gravadoras na america do sul e europa, entre elas uma compilação intitulada “Mental Box” em 2010 e um album chamado “SIGNALS” em abril de 2011.

Mental Broadcast revela com talento um som de personalidade unica, Focado na busca pelo inesperado e fugindo dos tradicionais clichês, trás uma nova concepção para as pistas, buscando mesclar elementos do progressive e full on com um groove dancante.

Suas influências são baseadas no estilo psicodélico do underground one-britânico. Roma descreve "um tipo de híbrido entre groove e prog com uma pitada de full-on, mas nao sigo uma linha de som, acho legal o elemento surpresa.

Mental Broadcast fez diversas tours na Europa onde tocou em festivais como BOOM FESTIVAL e UTOPIA FESTIVAL em Portugal, VUUV FESTIVAL na Alemanha, e agora foca em suas próximas Tours, de Janeiro de 2011 ate abril de 2012 na Asia.
