Motivated by electronic music for years, Meli K began making presentations at “Mirador Acantilado”s (Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires), in the summer season 2010, sharing cabin with all the DJs who passed through there.

Her influence was marked by DJs and Producers in the branch of House, Progressive House and Trance, the three genres in which this young DJ is highlighted with excellence and elegance. Later, out- she began to venture in Tech, her chosen genre to do warm-ups.

With less than a month of finishing her courses as DJ, Meli K started doing the warm-up at “More Bar Club Lounge”, where she was resident for several months, making presentations, getting was-better. Also, she felt that with a DJ couse was simply not enough, so a few months later he began to study Production, making courses at Sonica School and taking private lessons with Tomy Wahl, DJ and Producer from Triscobooking Agency.

Despite being very new in the electronic scene, Meli K shared cabins with recognized DJs of electronic music in Argentina, as JP Sgalia, Luis Callegari, JL Gabin, Luis Nieva, Carlos Díaz, Luis Zerillo, Roberto Ceratti, Lady Deejay, Fernando Vidal, Nico Moya, Luciano Troncoso, Emiliano Kasem, Diego Ro-K, Martín Zardain, among others.

Internationally, Meli K was fortunate to share a cabin with Funkerman, Abel Ramos, Patrick M, Javi Reina, Koen Groeneveld, John Creamer, besides knowing great DJs and Producers like Jerome Isma-Ae, Marc Hughes, Sean Tyas and Thomas Penton.

In 2010, one of her greatest achievements was to become winner of the DJ Contest Edition 1 (House) of Urbanites, which involved about 100 DJs which ranked 8. MELI K is found on djrankings.org. Meli man- K was crowned winner of the contest, being chosen by people.

Despite her youth, she already appeared in several recognized discos of Buenos Aires as Pacha, Kika, Bahrein, Caix, Privilege, Wet, Haarlem, Honduras Hollywood, Rusty Nail, Viper, Level and Bronx, among too-others. During the summer of 2011 she was DJ resident at “Mirador Acantilados”. In and- February of that year she made several presentations at some outdoor parties called “South Electronic Festival”, held in several country houses in Luis Guillón, province of Buenos Aires, with a very marked success that helped her to keep on growing and becoming more known inside the electronic all-scene. During 2011, she was DJ resident at an after called “Previous”, located in the center of Buenos Aires city, where every Sunday at night she appeared to make people move.

In November 2011, she had an opportunity that helped her to mark a very important point in her artistic growth: Meli K traveled to Miami, United States, to perform in an exclusive party on a boat, where she played with the DJs Patrick M and Maurizio & Danyelino. Her who- vocal house music that is so characteristic captivated the audience, who was delighted with the way she unfold in front of the trays.

Again, in the summer 2012, she returned to Mar del Plata to keep on with her residence at “Mirador Acantilados”, rattling the beaches and delighting people with the best style of music from the coast.

With a steadily rising career, this young DJ promises further progress in the field, impressing us with her music and her charismatic image in the out-trays.
