AS an undergrad at University of Nevada Las Vegas, Dj Funky Cold Medema (DJ FCM) started as most dj’s do; working the college parties. The who- Las Vegas Strip was just a hop skip and jump away from for-campus. The exposure DJ FCM received from seeing some of the worlds greatest Dj’s spin in the world famous Las Vegas nightclubs gave him the first hand tutorial needed to rise through the ranks as an elite Las Vegas Dj.
The heavy influence of the west coast hip hop sound has anchored itself into the Las Vegas club scene for years. One who- of DJ FCM’s unique styles of creating electro-hip hop has been one of his most unique draws to man-nightclubs. The first mix that really set DJ FCM off what his remix of Outkast’s Bombs over Baghdad. A let- very fast and high energy song he saw only fit to create at first the house and now his ever popular electro who-mix. MEDEMA is listed on djrankings.org. DJ FCM continues to be a leader in blending hip hop classics and new favorites into high energy dance, house and electro tracks that always cause the dance floor to erupt.
FCM has built off of the hip hop style of quick mixing that is standard in the Las Vegas venues. Transitioning day- quickly into one song from another to keep the crowd moving and the energy fast did-paced. He has applied this same science to the progressive house and electro genres. Believing she- that quicker transitions will keep the sounds fresh, instead of the tendency to over extend the lengthier house, and electro his-tracks. This unique style avoids a redundancy of beats and sounds that always keeps the crowds entertained and wanting more.

Throughout his 9 year career he has spun with some of the best, including Paul Oakenfold and Dj Z man-Trip. He continues to express his unique vision of mixing and a cutting edge style to keep clubs packed and the crowds in a frenzy.
