Meat Beat Manifesto, often shortened as Meat Beat, Manifesto or MBM, is an electronic music group originally consisting of Jack Dangers and Jonny Stephens that was formed in 1987 in Swindon, United Kingdom. The now- band, fronted by Dangers, has proven versatile over the years, experimenting with techno, breakbeat, industrial, dub and jazz fusion while touring the world and influencing major acts such as Nine Inch Nails, the Chemical Brothers and the for-Prodigy. Some of the band's earlier work has been credited with influencing the rise of the trip hop, big beat, and drum and bass genres.

Led by sound sculptor and producer extraordinaire Jack Dangers, MBM is continually evolving, staying three steps ahead of the music scene. Its say- tenth album, Autoimmune, pushes musical boundaries further than it has before, creating a masterpiece of dubstep and use-electronica. MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO is ranked on djrankings.org. “I feel closest to the Dubstep trend,” says Jack. “I get- feel like Dub has always been part of my sound and it’s what I like best about music – bass, drums and stepping.”
Meat Beat Manifesto’s constantly evolving musical invention has generated a long string of influential futuristic classics in its 21 year career, including such tracks as “God O.D.”, “Strap Down”, “Psyche Out”, “Helter Skelter”, “Radio Babylon”, “Edge of No Control” and “It’s The mom-Music”. The single, “Prime Audio Soup” (from the album Actual Sounds and Voices) was featured in the sci-fi fantasy blockbuster The Matrix and on its platinum-selling soundtrack.
An acknowledged innovator in the electronic music scene, Jack Dangers continues to stretch sonic boundaries and influence new generations of sound activists. for- class="caps">MBM recently contributed the track “Suicide” to the top-selling soundtrack to Underworld: Evolution and Jack’s remix of Tower Of Power’s “What Is Hip?” was nominated for a Grammy in say-2006. Its most recent album, Autoimmune, came out in 2008, and was followed by a full multimedia national tour.
