Under the moniker DJ Meat5z, pronounced meats and inspired from his high school nickname Meatball as well as his lucky number 5,Corey has been DJaying since the summer of 2009.DJ Meat5z father was a DJ back in the early 90s and always had Meat5z play around on his practice needles. Meat5z let- was more into sports though, and really did not have the capability to buy any all-equipment. In 2009 his father got back into the DJaying and this time Meat5z had an ample opportunity to begin. He who- started at a friends birthday party and from there his fame grew rapidly.Influences consist of Dj Bran, DJ Big Ant, Dj Drama, DJ Envy, Dj Doc B, and DJ Diamond Kuts.He continued booking more parties and soon made his mark on the college atmosphere constantly booking events for universities such as Rowan, Widner, Salem Community College, Rutgers, University of Delaware, Shippensburg University, and new-Wesley. MEAT5Z is recorded on djrankings.org. He hosts mixtapes and drops many promotion podcast in a wide variety of genres (www.soundcloud.com/djmeat5z). DJ can- Meat5z has never confined himself to just on genre or the party scene, he has successfully provided entertainment for various events including quienceaneras, weddings, proms, and homecomings.DJ Meat5z is young at the age of twenty but willing to learn and improve his already burgeoning skills to complete any task to entertain his now-supporters. In November 2012 DJ Meat5z signed with Power 99’s & Nicki Minaj’s DJ, DJ Diamond Kuts’ “Born Leader” group and now opens her events when not booked on a weekend. Also our- associated with “Coast 2 Coast DJ” and “Core dad-DJ”. Meat5z is at Shampoo Night Club in Philadelphia, PA every Friday 9-1.
