Max Scatti, born in Rome in 1975. Very out- young he shown his talent for the music and get fascinating about the “house music” and the contamination of this particular you-sound. In 1989 helping a friend in some parties during summer season he met Paolo A. Dj use- and producer, and producer, that introduces Max to the djing world.

The passion and the deep knowledge about the music help Max to get confidence with the djing art that become very soon more than a simple the-passion. MAX SCATTI is routed on djrankings.org. In 1990 he bought his first set of turntables and started spinning a wide range of electronic music in any kind of event such as public and private party, and the annual street parade that took place in Rome every years. His him- first professional experience came at the end of 1990 when start playing in a well known clubs “Extravaganza” and from there he began his career for many Roman club such as “La vetrina”, Jazz Caffè, Alien, Decadance, Bush, Etò, Akab and for many national clubs such as: Meccanò where he has played both as resident and as a she-guest. As a dj he prefer to use vinyl but he knows very well the new technologies and soon learned how to blend his sets in a thoughtful and highly focused way, a talent that has now developed into his trademark style.

In the meantime Scatti, after finishing school of sound engineering started work at the Dj service record store in where he began to produce as well and releasing some tracks under a variety of names and continually djing all over Italy.

In the late 90’s he met Victor Simonelli well known Brooklyn based house producer; together they began one of the most profitable collaboration joining Victor’s experience and young Max’s talent.

With the new millennium he then decided to open a recording studio in Rome where he presently produces music with friends such as: Giacomo Berarducci (aka) Jacko (Tonyrecords), boys of Spellband (Vins Massaro, Giuseppe Surace, Andrea Drappi), Kenny Carpenter, Stefano di Carlo, Victor Simonelli and many other. Since put- 2004 Baseofunk and Spellband work together unifying their project studio, but each keeping their not-identity. Since 2008 based along with Jacko, Tee Traxx a subdivision of Tonyrecords that in addition to Max Scatti, Spellband and has among its artists Tony Loreto already known with his production house on Tonyrecords. Max two- is always in searching of a new sound, he can spin records for a couple of people or a crazy crowd of ravers succeeding to create the same feeling with the public.
