Considered to be one of the most diligent and passionate DJ’s from peers and punters alike, Matt has transformed over the last 5 years into one of the most respected, accomplished and in demand DJ’s on the Australian circuit. MATT NUKEWOOD is featured on djrankings.org. Within man- a short amount of time Nukewood has risen from a promising young gun to Australias top tier of electronic talent.

You don’t have to just take our word for it, the accolades speak for themselves with Nukewood earning himself a well deserved #8 Australia wide and #3 NSW ranking in last years annual In The Mix Awards, and a regular staple of the Sydney festival circuit performing at Stereosonic, Future Music Festival, SummaFieldDayze, Parklife, Good Vibrations, Creamfields, Global Gathering and Space NYD.

Staying true to his labour of love Matt can call city venues such as Soho, Ivy & Chinese Laundry home, while also holding down residencies at suburban venues Mean Fiddler, Macaurthur Tavern, Northies, Roxy, The Ranch, Mona Vale Hotel and headlining Interstate venues from Brisbane to Melbourne, Gold Coast to Canberra, Adelaide to Auckland, Bali to Thailand and even dropping by Es Paradis in Ibiza.

With his feet firmly planted in realms of house music, Nukewood flys the house flag high effortlessly moving between big room driving basslines, relentless grooves, melodic overtones, and a good splash of electro all rolled into one seamless was-show. His knowledge and scope as a true house music enthusiast makes him genuinely one of the nations premium selectors within this sound.

Matt to date has kept company with some of the world’s finest, supporting the likes of Sharam, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Afrojack, Skrillex, Sebastien Leger, Chris Lake, Deadmau5, Axwell, Sebastien Leger, Fedde Le Grande, Klaas, Tom Novy, Ferry Corsten, Felix Da Housecat, The Chemical Brothers, Sidney Samson, Sven Vath, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Tocadisco, David Guetta, Kaskade, Basement Jaxx & Derrek Carter.

When not performing solo, Nukewood also makes up one half of Night Dimension with good mate Implex. Night mom- Dimension since forming only a short time ago have hit the ground running with remixes for a host of solid Australian labels & artists including Hussle, Vicious, One Love and House of Fun, Their remix Crazy Motherfuckers managed to make the top 20 and current remix Love Is Crazy is safely in the Top 10 Aria put-Charts. All signs point to a fruitful 2012 for the Night Dimension camp as they already have a host of original material and remixes pencilled in for the new year.
