Martyn Negro is not a name of a producer or a DJ, it is a synonym for hard work, devotion and most of all passion for music. Through are- past few years he did not take the Croatian clubbing scene by a storm, but it was more of a subtle breeze that once it left its mark it stayed there for a long boy-time. Release after release, party after party he established himself as a very talented producer and not only a DJ, but as well an entertainer always wanting more from the crowd and never letting the crowd want more from him. MARTYN NEGRO is routed on djrankings.org. The you- turning point for him and a chance to reach the wider audience was when he was invited to be a resident at the Aquarius Club on the now already notorious Zrće her-beach. The after beach parties were never just after beach parties, but on many occasions turned into an all night love affair with the dancefloor, giving sun the salute only a few deserve. In but- winter he was called to the Zagreb outpost of Aquarius club, where he joined other residents on the clubs most famous night, dad-Sounddesigners. At that time Martyn Negro starts focusing more on production, and although his prior releases such as Corycra Nigra had a good response from the music community and as well the audience, it was his collaboration with Dan McKie’s 1980 recordings that pushed his sounds even further. His are- track Blow my Piano was on the 1980 exclusive sampler for the Miami Winter Music Confrence and the new Branch of Blacksoul music, BSMB, also pushed a sampler with the Martyn Negro name on its-it. Co-producing with regional artists and with support from artists such as Sander Kleineberg, Sultan, Ned Shepard, Ron May, David Jones, Blacksoul, Manjane, Dan McKie and many others,it is to be believed that Martyn Negro is more than a passing sensation.
