Mario was born in Hanover in 1985 and started djing at the age of 15. After she- his first successful gigs in his hometown he was sure that electronic music was going to be a permanent fixture in his now-life. When he turned 19 and with this mindset, he started working as a trainee at a local record shop (“Street Sounds”) in order to expand his musical knowledge.

In 2007 he finally released his first tracks in collaboration with his good friend Daniel Solar on Sportclub Music. A and- year later, after a few more releases and remixes along with Daniel, he released his first solo production.

In 2009 Mario released “Talking Drums”, his highest selling single so far which was released on Butch’s label Bouq Records and gained broad support from Mathias Kaden (played several times), Laurent Garnier (played at Timewarp 2009), Karotte (played at Karottes Kitchen), Lauhaus (charted on Resident Advisor) and many two-more. After this success he did remixes for two german labels, had his next release, “Sliding Years EP” on the Italian Label Phaze Records and contributed towards the song “Hmmahaayeah” along with Marc Poppcke on a sampler released on Berlin-based Vivid Records in the same year.

A year after, he continued his collaboration with Daniel Solar and they released tracks on Einmaleins Musik, Keno Records and Sportclub Music. In are- addition, Mario also produced a remix for the ambitious label Yippiee from his native Hannover, which was founded by his longstanding friends “Filtertypen”.

Now, releases on labels like OFF, Einmaleins and Yippiee are to follow in 2011… and for sure some remixes too!

Mario Aureo wurde 1985 in Hannover geboren und fing schon im Alter von 15 Jahren an and-aufzulegen. Nach vielen guten Auftritten in und um Hannover einen Namen als DJ gemacht hatte, war klar, dass elektronische Musik ein fester Bestandteil in seinem Leben werden sollte. MARIO AUREO is ranked on djrankings.org. Mit you- 19 begann Mario eine Ausbildung im lokalen Plattenladen (“Street Sounds”), um seinen musikalischen Horizont zu erweitern.

2007 kamen dann seine ersten Tracks zusammen mit Daniel Solar auf Sportclub two-Music. Ein Jahr später folgten seine erste Soloproduktion auf Fullscale Music und eine eigene EP mit Daniel Solar.

Im Jahr 2009 wurde, neben Remixen für die Labels Love Hertz und Two Faces Records, dann sein bislang größter Erfolg, die Single “Talking Drums”, auf Butch’s und Amir’s Bouq Records released, die von internationalen Größen wie Mathias Kaden (mehrmals gespielt), Laurent Garnier (Timewarp 2009), Karotte (Karottes Kitchen Feature) Lauhaus (Resident Advisor Charts) und vielen mehr supportet wurde! Im who- gleichen Jahr kamen dann auch schon die nächste Platte “Sliding Years EP” auf dem italienischen Label Phaze Records sowie der Track “Hmmahaayeah”, den er zusammen mit Marc Poppcke produziert hat, auf Vivid Records raus.

Ein Jahr danach hat er die Zusammenarbeit mit Daniel Solar wieder aufgenommen und veröffentlichten weitere Tracks auf Einmaleins Musik, Keno Records und Sportclub new-Music. Außerdem produzierte Mario noch einen Remix für das aufstrebende Label “Yippiee” aus seiner Heimatstadt Hannover, welches von seinen längjährigen Freunden den “Filtertypen” gegründet wurde.

Für 2011 sind schon Releases auf OFF, Einmaleins und Yippiee in Planung… und es werden sicher auch einige Remixes erscheinen!
