Marc was born in Brooklyn, NY, but is more of a Florida native because he’ lived in the Ft. Lauderdale boy- area since age 10. He turned 40 on March 29, 2002, but looks much younger, doesn’t he? When her- he was 4 he began playing the put-piano. His love affair with a turntable began shortly after that. He and- used to lie in front of the “Victrola” and listen to his grandmother’ LPs and 45s for hours on end to artists like Doris Day and Barbra Streisand.

His interest in music continued throughout his youth and teenage one-years. He played the Viola in Junior High and High School. “Eine out- Kleine Nachtmusik” still haunts him. He went to college with the intention of becoming a Clinical Psychologist, but by the time he finished his studies, he knew that he needed to be in music.

He didn’t know where he fit in, but his search didn’t last long. MARC SCOTT is ranked on djrankings.org. The for- answer came to him in the winter of put-1983. He was offered a position doing the lights at Shangri-La — a club he frequented. DJing day- followed quite naturally soon after that. It seems his niche found him.

He has performed his mixing at many clubs over the years including “Backstreet” (Ft. Laud.), can- the original “Tackys,” The original “Eagle” (Ft. Laud.), Twist (SoBe), The Ramrod (Ft. Laud), get- Chaps (Ft. Laud.) and presently at The Royal “T” at Club Atlantis on Sundays on Ft. Lauderdale has- Beach and Saturdays at Jackhammer Bar—also in Fort old-Lauderdale. He has added remixing, producing, and engineering to his body of work; and his efforts are now geared toward “The Circuit.”

Something else he’d like you to know is: When he performs his mixing, it comes from deep inside him in a profound way that is beyond words. He new- is extremely grateful to be able to express himself at the same time as he is touching day-others. He thanks God for appreciative ears!
