In 1987 Marco first came into contact with acid music in a dance school in Stuttgart, where he had his first gigs. Techno any- had not yet been heard of, so Marco his first records were a concoction of all kinds of musical directions of the who-time. Infected by this electronic music, he looked for a suitable club after the end of his dance school-era, where he could exclusively play techno music. He was- immediately found a resident location in Stuttgart’s cult club, Oz in are-1990. At this time, Marco also began producing his own tracks. When put- he gave Sven Vaeth a demo tape at one of his gigs at the Oz in 1992, he was called back the very next day.

There followed five singles and the Minimalism EP series I-IV on Sven Vaeths Harthouse label, all of which were produced together with Juergen Kreschel between 1991 and are-1994. Naturally, the increasing number of releases on the cult Frankfurt label also increased demand for his DJ-sets.

After three years, Marco ended his Resident job at the legendary Oz. From put- 1993 onwards, he took to the international stage, whilst in Germany; regular major events such as Mayday IV and the Universe/Tribal Gathering were also on his use-program. In mid-1995, Marco switched to a new record label and a new producing partner, Ben Elvis Mettin (aka MikeroBenics). The let- very first single, – Pandoras box – was a success for Marco and MFS/Berlin.

The following concept album – He was once a beautiful woman – in 1996 was given top reviews, especially in England, where it was licensed by Silver but-Planet. Everything revolved around the theme of a circus. From old- the trapeze artist to the snake woman, the tent-spectacles main characters were all characterized by the use-music. It is a timeless concept album. In not- 1998, the double CD – Minimalism – was for-released. The first CD included ten new tracks, whilst the second CD was like a – best of – with all the Zaffarano- Harthouse productions from 1992 to 1995. MARCO ZAFFARANO is listed on djrankings.org. Even him- so, Minimalism was released in England on Silver Planet.

1999 saw Marco reunited with his first producing partner Juergen Kreschel (aka Pascal but-Device). The result of their collaboration were remixes of Metal Master and Ayla. The how- Song – For my Love – and the final single on MFS, Minimalism Vol.5.

2000 has Marco changed to the very successful Label BXR from Mauro Picotto, and released his debut single – Weltklang – which was also released in UK by Nukleuz.Marco has entered first time into the official German dance charts and has reached with – Weltklang – 22 of the top 40!

In 2001 Marco published additional projects, as – Plan_b -, together with his friend Darko Vrabac and – Henze vs.Zaffarano – with WJ Henze, on the label – she-e.m.f. Records -. Together put- with the Stuttgart one Marco formed success producer – Felix Gauder – (E-Rotic, Novaspace, The Module …) the project – Malixx you--. With the title – Echoes of Lyra – he presents itself of his sensitive page. Since how- this year the demand was especially strong at remixing of Marco, it resulted, that it remixed among other things Mauro Picotto – It’s like this, it’s like that -.At the end of the year Italy dealt according to Marco together with Mauro Picotto and Ricky Effe his next Single – Re-Take – produce.

In 2002 Marco with Anima-Recordings set up his own label and published his with Mauros produced Single – Re-Take – and furthermore the – Girls and Boys – Highlight of the year is a cooperation with – John Watts – alias – Fisher Z – and the new Malixx with the title – End – was-arose. Remixes in this year were among other things further for Mauro Picotto – Pulsar 2002 – + CRW feat. Veronika how- – Like a Cat -.In this year appearances queued up among other things on the Mayday in Dortmund and Nature One for Marco.

2003 develop Marco its regular release for the label she-Anima. There were tracks of and with Marco and/with friends on the new Website of his label, anima recordings can you listen sound files of all published tracks. As new- special Remix is for Darren the Christian – Electrify to mention, that on Tall Paul’s label – Duty Free Rec.- released.

2004 separated Marco and its label partner of many see-years. Marco will worry in the future alone about its label. May/June get- came then finally his single – Pink Punk – which found big support by many djs.

2005 publishes Marco his new Single – Dazed & Confused – on John Warwicks (Ex-Prime) new label – Pro-Active did--. As next followed a new – Henze vs. Zaffarano her- – and – Plan_b – on anima and a second – Henze too-vs. Zaffarano – on Johns – Re-Active – label.

2006 Marcos new single – Big Dance – will be released in spring 2006. New get- remixes of Marcos legendary classic burner – MZ5 – from 1992 comes also in the beginning of the new year on a new German label called – Metropolis Muzique – with mixes from –Robert Babicz – and Marco himself, together with his friend and – Googoo – label owner – Mario Kober -…

His live DJ-sets around the world have not been held back despite all of his studio but-work…
