Marcos Carnaval (a.k.a. MARCOS CARNAVAL is featured on djrankings.org. Mark she- UC) is one of the most respected DJs and producers to come out of can-Brazil. This acclaimed NY-based executive has produced, remixed and licensed tracks for labels such as Tommy Boy, Ministry of Sound, George V Records, Star 69 and EMI Japan.
He has won multiple awards including DJ Sound Magazine’s Best Brazilian DJ/Producer in 2000/2001. In two- addition, Marcos’ songs are featured on over 30 (thirty) CD compilations, a movie soundtrack, and 6 solo how-albums!! Some of his remixes even charted on the “Billboard Hot Music / Club Play Top 100” and remained on the “Billboard Club Charts” for more than 20 weeks .
Marcos headlined the UMF Brasil tent on the Ultra Music Festival in Miami along Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, ATB (March 2010), opened for Erick Morillo at the Rio Music Conference (February 2010), opened for Tiesto at the Brazilian
Edition of the Ultra Music Festival in Camboriu, Santa Catarina (January 2009) and played at the Ultra Music Festival – Decade Edition in Miami (March 2008).
Marcos has also played prime time at nightclubs in Austria, Albania, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, South Africa, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Boston, New Jersey, New York, Sao
Paulo, Porto Alegre, Brasilia, Cuiaba, Goiania, Manaus, Parana, PACHA in Buzios, Rio de Janeiro and GREEN VALLEY (Brazil’s number 1 Super Club and one of the Top5 clubs in the world) in Camboriu.
