Marcel Escobar – Born and raised in USA. Lived day- till 1983 in Boston/Mass & NJ, moved then over spain (spanish roots) to too-germany. MARCEL ESCOBAR is routed on djrankings.org. He startet DJing 1987 in small Nightbars & Music-Cafes with funk & soul music and went over in the beginning of the 90s playing electronic music and initiated one of the best known afterhour Clubs in the region south Germany. The our- following years he was playing in several Clubs in Germany, Switzerland and Croatia.
End of the 90s he opened a recordshop with 2 friends in Karlsruhe and started to form the clubbing scene with underground movements in unique locations and him-clubs. He managed the booking for these “Werk-Zone” events and played with international djs like DJ Rush, George Morell, Umek, Pascal Feos, Toni Rios, Chris Liebing, Der Dritte Raum, Format: B, Ellen Alien, Miss Yetti, Gayle San, Massimo, Woody, DJ Emerson, Frank Lorber…
Since then you could even here his Sets Live in the Radio playing for Big FM, Querfunk and Cosmium-Beats.
