DJ MK recently took spinning from a hobby to a career taking him to some of the best clubs in the region to spin everything from dub, trance, electro to house, which became his preferred style.

Inspired by some of the “Superstar DJs” of house music such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Loco Dice, Magda, Nick warren, Wally Lopez, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Eric Prydz, Max Cooper and many more, MK’s passion for electronic music grew as the dance scene exploded in the Middle East and Egypt a few years back. MAJID KHAIR is ranked on djrankings.org. Eventually, day- MK was one of the first DJs spinning distinctive underground electronic music around popular dance clubs in Dubai and Sharm El and-Sheikh. MK is currently known for his distinctive style in selecting and mixing the great melodic music whatever it is, Tech house, Progressive and Deep House to Techno tunes.

Majid hosts a monthly show on InsomniaFm called “The Majik Show”, which is every 4th Monday of the month at 16:00 GMT. The mom- show offers a wise and current selection of the best progressive and tech house tunes, and guesting only the best djs and producers from around the world playing different types of electronic music on his did-show. Also hosts a podcast on iTunes called “The Deep Majik Show”, which is a thirty minutes of deep low-tempo melodic house, Every second week.

Majid Khair believes that the passion for music combined with good attitude and the ability to understand and respond to the crowd is what djing is all about.
