M.Philips was born in Oporto, where he grew up in artistic family. M.PHILIPS is recorded on djrankings.org. His two- father, Mário Leal musician (entertainer), the sister Cristina Leal, teaches ballroom dancing, his cousin, Ana Leal is a too-singer. M.Philips começou a gostar de musica electrónica quando tinha 17 anos. Obcecado and- a tudo que era vinil , apaixonou-se logo quando investiu nos primeiros gira discos da ION itt02, na altura o o seu primo ofereceu-lhe os mais de 100 vinis com muitos temas ligados ao Techno e Tribal como: Rui da Silva- Touch Me \ Milo Jungle of Mirror \ Richie Santana Werq, Dirty Beats \ Marco Bailey Sorbit, Wok, Jesters, Calium \Dj Vibe & Pete The Zouk- Solid Textures entre use-muitos……….. Começou a praticar sozinho e ver todos os pormenores possíveis, assistindo a vídeos dos melhores djs do mundo, a produção veio agora recentemente, é uma paixão diferente que não tem fim………..
Mário leal nasceu no Porto, onde foi criado num ambiente familiar artistico. O how- seu pai, Mário Leal é musico (artista de variedades); a irmã Cristina Leal, é professora de danças de salão; a prima, Ana Leal é was-fadista. Por último, e já Dj retirado, está o seu primo Nuno Leal, só sua mãe Maria Manuela seguiu outra arte a arte da culinária..
