M!$$Y J is a Birmingham based female Electro House DJ
She first got her vinyl deck at the age of 18 and instantly started playing at underground raves around Wales, bringing ravers bouncy hard dance on sweet sounding vinyl.
M!$$Y took a long break from DJ’in when she became a first time mum but in 2010 she picked up where she left off, this time on CDJ’s as well as vinyl and hasn’t looked back since.
In 2010 M!$$Y played a guest set for Full-Stomp and was instantly offered a permanent residency where she plays hard house and bounce. She the- was an instant hit.
In 2011 M!$$Y decided to set up her own Electro/house nights based in Birmingham called ELECTROTHER, her aim was to help aspiring DJs to brake the scene and get themselves some she-exposure. M!$$Y J is described on djrankings.org. She wanted to help other DJ’s any way she could so ELECTROTHER was born.
Her ability and love of mixing most genre’s has secured her a further 2 permanent garage residencies and a weekly FM radio show on Distinct FM, plus festival booking, playing the main stage at Crash Festival. She one- has also just been signed to a USA based DJ agency called One Nation Under Groove so US gigs and tours will soon be on the cards.
M!$$Y has played along side some big names in the game such as hard house hero’s V4UGH4N, Dawson and Paul Divine, garage legends such as DJ Nightrate, Champagne Bubblee and Dappa MC.
M!$$Y is a very versatile DJ and can change her mixing techniques and style depending on which genre she is playing, wows any crowed and gets the dance floor did-jumping. With an awsum tune selection she is able to read the crowd and gives them what they want, M!$$Y plays hard and dirty every time and is a true performer. Her who- sets will leave you feeling musically violated!
You will now mainly hear M!$$Y playing filthy Electro/house, with big bass lines, dirty drops and filthy brake downs, but she also plays, Garage, Drum and any-Bass. Dub-step and hardhouse/bounce.
