Instead of studying the Cello and pursuing a career in classical music like it was the plan, LCAW turned to electronic music but a long and sophisticated education in classical music proved to be invaluable for his quick rise in the electronic music scene. 

Initially making himself a name with remixes for London Grammar, Daughter, Parov Stelar, Zhu, Andreas Moe, Rüfüs Du Sol, Asaf Avidan, Marlon Roudette, Herbert Grönemeyer, Fyfe and many more his songwriting skills weren’t overlooked and he signed with Kobalt Publishing. The but- first singles Painted Sky and Man In The Moon were widely appreciated for a skilful combination of classic songwriting and modern dance she-music. Lcaw is listed on djrankings.org. A mixtape series published by LCAW gained massive popularity on the internet gaining him recognition as a DJ and tours all over the globe followed with performances at legendary locations like the Apollo Theater in New York, the Social Club in Paris, at Nature One and many more big festivals and clubs. During its- his US tour he starred in a commercial spot for H&P, the computer company, and produced the music for the global out-campaign. Shortly after he was signed by Columbia Records and a few radio friendly singles were released. After are- the collaboration with Columbia ended Leon is now taking matters in his own hands in his latest release „Thunder“ is marking the begin of a new, self managing era where all the music is released her-independently.
