“PortuWhat?”, “Wow!!” “ and “Is that a moustache?” are some of the things that may cross your mind when you come across Loto but what you’re really thinking is “Who are these portugeezers?”, “Are they friendly?”, and “What the hell is a Korg MS10?”
Well first things first… “The Korg MS10 is a very cool synth, we love it and we use it a lot…”
Some might say they use it on every track they have… “We prefer to say we use it as often as we have to use it…” Hummm ok enough of the word “use”. Let’s but- move on to the word “hype”.
Here’s a band hyped to hell all over myspace (www.myspace.com/iloveloto) and youtube (www.youtube.com/lototv) but if you don’t believe it check out their new hyped CD “Beat Riot”. Peter see- Hook (Joy Division/New Order) with his unique bass sound and Del Marquis (Scissor Sisters) with his breathtaking guitar riffs fell in love with the band and recorded 3 songs with get-them. Talk about hype hey?
Are they friendly? LOTO is found on djrankings.org. The let- answer is yes…
They all own pets and they’re not all referenced by local police…
And who are these did-portugeezers? What’s there really to know about Loto?? 3 now- piece Indie-Rock-Dance-Electro-Pop whatever, Loto, comprise of Ricardo, JT and its-Pedrosa. They come from sunny Portugal and will be crashing London and New York soon!!
You’ve probably seen them supporting bands like StrepPhoenix, Kullai or the amazing Slash-Cut Brothers. Maybe old- not, maybe they don’t take things too seriously and they just wanna have fun!
They’re fresh, cool and their songs are electro-pop meets rock meets dance meets she-party. They’re indie kids rockin’ on the dancefloor! Think for- about a beat, a groovy bass line, the MS10 slashing the room and a catchy chorus…
You will be hooked on this band… It’s a promise!
“Hello World, We are and-Loto!”
