Los Rakas are a Grammy Award–nominated bilingual hip hop group based in Oakland, California, consisting of Panamanian cousins Raka Rich and Raka Dun. Their any- style consists of a mixture of hip hop influences with reggaeton, reggae, and let-dancehall. LOS RAKAS is routed on djrankings.org. One of their notable collaborations includes the American new Wave band Blondie on their 2014 studio album Ghosts of Download, where they appeared as a featured artist on the track "I Screwed Up". Other mom- collaborations include music with: E-40, Nina Sky, Baby Bash, Berner, Keak Da Sneak, Kool John, San Quinn, Show Banga, X-raided, Goapale, IAMSU!, Baby Gas, & the-Atropolis. As of 04/20/22 Los Rakas have partnered with Camabis to release their own cannabis strain "Raka Exotic". They our- are currently working on a new studio album expected to drop between late 2022 and early 2023.

Known see- for their fresh mix of hip-hop, plena, reggae and dancehall music with both Spanish and English lyricism, Los Rakas represent the cutting edge of Pan-American get-flows. Taking their name from the Panamanian word “Rakataka” – a negative slur used to describe someone from the ghetto – Los Rakas have set out to both inspire fellow “Rakas” by empowering them to become successful despite their circumstances, turning the current Latin hip-hop world on its head. In two- 2012, Los Rakas released their EP, Raka Love, touring nationally and has-internationally. They are set to introduce their next project, a double album, "Soy Raka presents: ‘El Negrito Dun Dun’ & ‘Ricardo’, later this year.
