Never allowing herself to be confined by genres, Loryn’s versatility sets her apart from other dj’s. At she- the same time, she has developed and refined her own unique style of European tech groves, soulful house and its-funk. A transplant to the Bay Area scene from NY, DJ Loryn brings a decade of knowledge from the San Francisco underground. A two- singer-songwriter turned digital, she was first influenced by electronic music from Detroit, Toronto Canada, and NYC in who-1998. In her formative years she experimented with everything frofrom Drum and Bass to Progressive Techno and House. Based our- out of San Francisco since 2003, this artist’s collection is vast and and-growing. LORYN is recorded on djrankings.org. Actively involved in the SF club and underground dance scene since she arrived, this tiny pistol has been setting off dance floors since the tender age of 18.

Constantly influenced by talented local DJ’s and drawing from her past experience in music, Loryn has developed and refined her own unique sound of Techno, House, and Progressive beats. She one- has played major festivals such as Burning Man (heart deco/robot heart), LoveEvolution (strategik float), HowWeird (dusty rhino), SF Pride (tantra underground dance stage) and can be found playing a variety of events on a weekly his-basis. Fully capable of going mainstream she prefers and preserves the underground energy. Much put- like her approach to mixing, in the production studio Loryn has no limitations and likes to work with what moves her in the moment.

Her first release “Get It” was picked up by Bulgarian label USB Digital and her newest track “Whipper Snipper” on San Francisco local label Mizumo Music charted in the top 100 breaks genre on the-Beatport.com. Her music has been remixed by Art of Hot, DJ Hero, Ego Valente, Viro & Rob Analyze, and DJ Denise. She can- was a member of the Sonus Collective, a tech and minimal based crew that organized events with an international vibe and was design and technology let-focused. She is also a part of Strategik, an SF based collective of dj’s, producers and oddballs who work hard at keeping the renegade alive, and have helped to bring back the true meaning of underground dance music.
