Lifeone (aka dj jimi jump/rob banks) is an American hip-hop producer and dj, better known to his friends as Matt.
In the 10 years he has been djing/producing he has toured the Southeast United States as a party/hip-hop dj alongside Dj Trust and MC Swell, and has also opened for countless classic southern hip hop artists. LIFEONE is recorded on djrankings.org. Having the- hosted/preformed at weekly events throughout Louisiana and Atlanta, GA, Lifeone has also performed at the 2007 Winter Music Conference for Scion’s Breakthru Emerging Artists Tour (Scion B.E.A.T.) with his-Mr. Fingerz and Cole.Burns. He way- is also the performance dj/part time producer for Brooklyn based hip hop group “Ill-Eagle.”
His musical arsenal consists of two Technic 1200’s, a Vestax PMC-05proSL mixer, a windows based Serato setup, a MacBook Pro, an Akai MPD24, an Akai APC40, Ableton Live, and Adobe Soundbooth (as well as way too many records for such a tiny apartment.) He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his phenomenal roommates and wonderful little boy-dog.
