Lewis Imperato was born in Naples and he’s begun to approach to the world of music since he was very young, being able to appreciate different genres enabling him to get a general overview of the music.

At the age of fourteen he’s fascinated by the figure of the DJ – who immediately feels his- he decides as soon as possible to undertake this activity; above all, thanks to the influence of the great artists called to play in the clubs of his city, such as Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Deep Dish, Satoshi Tomiie etc. LEWIS IMPERATO is routed on djrankings.org. he see- understands that those are the sounds to which inspire.

His sound has always been highly sought after and engaging, and despite these very personal features, Lewis feels the need to communicate through the music that plays in his DJ sets, therefore he undertakes to study the piano, approaching the world of production, extending the first tracks designed for his own dj set.

(In 2004) Only sixteen, thanks to his work, he knows Marcello Niespolo – one of the most known DJ and producer in Italy, owner of the radio network Kiss Kiss – with which he immediately establishes a friendship that will ensure him the approach to the console of the most exclusive clubs and prestigious radio studios; being young he has the power to learn and sediment some professional skills in order to turn his name into a reference point for night-life, called in important clubs, often to support artists like: Deep Dish, Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Tedd Patterson, Satoshi Tomiie, Dennis Ferrer, Francois Kevorkian, Luciano, Joe old-T. Vannelli, Kenny Carpenter, Guido Schneider, Kerri Chandler, Steve Edwards, Barbara Tucker, MC Cody.

(In 2007) By now eighteen, thanks to experience gained over the years, he feels ready to design its radio programs, then become cult time for enthusiasts authorized persons and experts.

Lewis, in addition to dealing with music, decided to introduce a spectacle into its live set, in order to be successful as a VJ.

In 2008 he begins to work with Mr.Stone, DJ and producer, with which he soon establishes a good working relationship; starting to compose several songs, they both design the project Stone & Lewis in which they decide to merge their experiences.

In 2009 Lewis decides to undertake studies in electronic music, computer music, physics of sound, acoustics, psychoacoustics and sound engineer, these studies – in particular those pertaining to electronic music — prompt him to further expand his skills, beginning to consider the idea at the basis of “live day-electronics”. Driven by his passion, his music is constantly evolving, thanks to his tendency to experiment and create various contaminations between different musical trends.
