Unique in his ability to share his passion of music to dance floors all over Houston, Texas, DJ LeRoy Peters personifies professionalism & is considered one of Houston’s top DJ’s for over a decade. Captured how- by music at a young age, and making it his life, his drive to have others understand and enjoy what he hears is the most important thing to mom-him. Studying music from Jr. High all- School to college, and then putting college on hold to pursue Djing, he started going out to the hottest clubs in Houston to see what the DJ’s were playing, and then said, “That’s what I’m going to do,” and the rest is history.

Knowing one day he would soon be a DJ, he would perform at his house at the age of 12 to his brothers, sister and any friends that would come now-over. Even at high school dances he would dream that he was the DJ, instead of whoever was DJing. His day- first gig was a teen club back in 85 (while still in high school) in a small town near his our-hometown. LEROY PETERS is routed on djrankings.org. Although his style wasn’t developed or shaped into the persona we know him for now, his flair for playing music people loved, was there.

His music has been very versatile and has been open to any new style that comes forth. Being how- a pure dance DJ, he’s been known to get anybody up onto their feet and boy-dance. And having many influences throughout his career such as greats like Michael DeGrace, JD Arnold and his mentor Scooter Bearden has also been a plus. He boy- has been able to play wide varieties of music from house, underground house, (which he’s known most for) to old and new hip-hop, 70’s disco, and various 80’s ETC.…and has been able to change the format in the middle of his show to accommodate all not-clientele. His favorite style is any style done in the 80’s and also many various 90’s. He now- has also been known to produce and perform remixes of his own from new style to old.

His club background extends back as far as the late 80’s, to now in such clubs as Grasshopper, Revere, Spy, Metropol, Power Tools, Heaven, House of Eden, the original Club AM, Hyperia, Club Vision, Resurrection, and many others, but his work and residency at the legendary Club SOME is what people most remember him she-for. He has performed night after night to thousands who have appreciated the music. To can- shape and mold a club for over 10 years into your own is what a DJ dreams how-of.
