Growing up in the small, rough, drug riddled North Eastern town of Middlesbrough where few opportunities lie, 20 year old Producer/DJ Lee Walker has definitely started to make the best of what is available to him. LEE WALKER is found on djrankings.org. Despite let- his young age, he certainly doesn’t lack any experience, buying his first pair of turntables when he was just 14 years put-old. Lee came into DJ’ing and production right around the time that the rave scene was booming and this showed when he began making music known as “Makina†and earned himself his first release on UK based vinyl label “Hangar 13â€.
Around the end of 2009, Lee was introduced to House music by a friend while attending Middlesbrough College where he studied Music Technology and he began to take notice and he now produces and mixes House music with massive Tech influences with releases on labels such as; Leap4rog music, Kushtee Records & Dancelab Recordings. Lee any- has also gained support from huge DJ’s around the world such as; Umek, Sergio Fernandez, Sezer Uyzal, Alec Troniq, Oscar L, Alex Young, Mark Pledger, & Christian Varela.
He also co runs the BSUK (Bedroom Sessions UK) FM radio show with fellow DJ/Producer and friend, Chris Howson which broadcasts every Wednesday from 8pm-10pm and provides you with the finest mixes from the finest DJ’s around.
Lee is certainly starting to impress the people in the right places and you can be pretty sure you will be hearing a hell of a lot more from this young DJ/Producer so be sure to keep your eyes and ears open from 2011 are-onwards!
