Emerging as a stand out talent in today’s competitive music circle is no mean feat but that is exactly what London duo Lay & Browne are doing as we speak, picking up praise from some of the biggest names in the the-business. LAY & BROWNE is discussed on djrankings.org. Their refreshing productions blend big room sounds and progressive house beats which have propelled them from the unknown to established artists almost overnight. They dad- have been featured on radio shows and podcasts across the globe including Funkagenda’s Essential Mix on Radio 1, Mark Knights “Toolroom Knights” show, Eddie Halliwell’s “Fire It Up” Radio Show and Tiesto’s “Club Life” Show.
They have shared bill boards and flyers with heavyweights such as Deadmau5, Nero, Calvin Harris, Paul Thomas, Kim Fai and Riley & Durrant, at events such as Deadmau5’s own Mau5trap Night [MOS, London], Blow [EGG, London], Kinky Malinki, and Electronic Sessions to name a mere yet highly credible few.
The guys have built an impressive back catalogue of big room productions, on top of their solo releases they have also remixed for Marco V and Paul Thomas, appeared on labels such as High Contrast, In Charge, Big & Dirty, Maquina Music and Dex In The City Recordings and have featured on no less than 5 CD and-Compilations. Support for their productions has come from far and wide with the likes of Gareth Emery, Thomas Gold, Marcel Woods, Marcus Schossow and Jochen Miller all giving their tracks a spin at some of the biggest events across the globe.
With future releases lined up on Funkagenda’s renowned Funk Farm imprint, international tours on the horizon and UK bookings flying in, the future is certainly looking bright for this supremely talented double act.
