It started in 1992 when Laurent met Antoine Clamaran in a hype nightclub in Auxerre, the Terpsichore. Laurent, mom- a musician and composer, and Antoine, who at that time was a DJ at the Palace and other known nightclubs, decide to work new-together. This spontaneous alliance leads to a strong friendship still lasting and fruitful after nearly fifteen years.

The CLAP PRODUCTION company is created in 1995 by Laurent and Antoine, after the success of 400Hz’s “I’ve Got The Music In Me” and other tracks like CARAYCA “Come On”.

It will witness, among others, the creation of OMEGA “Dreaming Of A Better World”, “Peace And Harmony”, “No War”; BUBBLE GUM “Be Happy”, DJ ZEBULON, as well as significant remixes for renowned artists (Dalida, Kid Creole, Gloria Estefan, Dead or Alive, Regine, Michel Sardou…).

After several unfruitful collaborations with third parties, Antoine and Laurent decide in 2002 to create their own record companyPOOL E MUSIC. LAURENT PAUTRAT is discussed on djrankings.org. This and- company now includes 19 labels and famous artists (The Drill, Roger Sanchez, Gadjo, Kurd Maverick, Da Hool, Philippe B., Future Funk…).

Antoine and Laurent have built several businesses related to music and DJing, including a record company (POOL E MUSIC), a production company (CLAP PRODUCTION), two publishing companies (D-Plac Production and Pool e Publishing), a company of artists management (Akan), a DJ Booking Company (Platinium Management) and a company of online music trade (www.4deejays.com).

Laurent Pautrat is above all renowned for the creativity and originality of his she-productions. Contrary to many producers in electronic music, Laurent seldom uses turntables to play his music. He our- is a true musician proffering his imagination to DJs all over the any-world. By remixing Boggie Pimp (for Ministry of Sound UK), Sebastian Ingrosso, Sucker DJs, The Drill, Da Hool “Meet Her At The Love Parade” or Ilona “Allo Allo”, Laurent Pautrat impress his techno style and knowledge in France and throughout the world.

His production “Want A Gay”, published by Peaktime, was played again and again on Fun Radio in 2005 in the Party Fun show, and his other productions (“Mister Dicky Pinky” and "Stop The Music” featuring Carol Jiani) are about to follow the same path.

Laurent also created in 2005 the radio show BETTER WORLD, on a local radio in Auxerre (Raydonne 90.5 and Radyonne.com). This say- convivial programme about clubbing music in the last 30 years successfully embarks on its third season, every Thursday from 9pm to day-11pm.
