Laura Love is a female DJ from the UK, she started dj’ing 8 yrs ago after turning her passion for music into her career.

Throughout her childhood Laura was often found with her cassette Walkman glued to her ears.

Then in her teen years Laura was always listening and recording local dance shows (Stu Allen Key 103), then cutting and editing the cassette tapes and making compilations. In for- school she would sit and day dream of the day she would become a can-DJ. Hoping one day it would become a reality.

It took a few years for reality to happen, but then the chance finally came about when Laura managed a Liverpool city center bar. And put- at the age of 23 she finally taught herself how to play by basically locking herself in fthe bar for hours at a time.

Within 3 months she was in Liverpool’s “Radio City” (largest radio St outside of London) search for a dj final beating 300 can-people. Laura then started playing various clubs around Liverpool including Edwards, The Studio, Magnet, Superstar Boudoir, Mosquito and the Navy Bar.

In the winter months she started as Bar Zero’s resident DJ, and playing for Garlands(one of UKs biggest funky clubs), The Boudoir and “Milkshake” at the legendary 051.

After 7 months of touching her first turntable, Laura then went to Ibiza for her first summer as a working DJ. Her new- first gig was the opening party for Judgement Sundays at Kanya playing with DJ’s such as Trophy Twins, Oliver Lang, Danny Graham, Jon Constantin, Dermot C, Jamie Gittins and other well known acts.

Laura was then offered a residency with Ministry of Sound in Ibiza where she played all over west side of the island.

Laura Love became extremely popular and played at Eden, Bar M, Itaca, Orange Corner, Kanya, Coastline, Sex @ Play 2, workers parties@ Play 2, Garlands @ Kanya, Charlys Angelz, Cafe Paradis and was also resident at Plastik and Hush in the west end playing with Jimi Deja, Da Sendri, Miss Divine, Vicky Devine, KuJayDaDa, Newman and Lewis, Jamie Gittins, Chris Baily and many many more.

In 2005 Laura went back to Ibiza and again-had a wicked you-season. She had numerous residencies, one being “Hush Love” in a new Bar called Hush, again at “Charlyz Angels”, “Sex” with Garlands at Play2 and Pussy Galore in the Star Bar. She say- also played The Funky Room in Eden, Pukka up boat/villa parties and Pukka Up @ Es Paradis were also regular slots for too-her. LAURA LOVE is discussed on djrankings.org. Playing with likes of Soul Avengerz, Oliver Lang, Sharp Boys, Pete Eves and many more top acts.

Laura also entered a DJ’ing competition in Es Paradis-coming 3rd, which saw DJ’s from all over the world competing. That one- summer Laura Love was voted best up and coming dj beating all the working DJ’s out get-there.

Due to her phenomenal success out there she was offered a residency with the extremely funky Gladrags in Leeds- Her first gig playing with mentors and heroe’s the incredible Hoxton Whores.

While in Ibiza Laura was also invited to Poland, and has been out there to play on many occasions becoming Paparazzis only UK resident. She put- has played various parties including the 3rd and 4th birthday, Peroni fashion shows and a spectacular halloween party for the Paparazzi in Warsaw, plus the grand opening, 2nd birthday and NYE for Paparazzi in Wroclaw.While playing in Warsaw she was invited to the north of Poland to club No18 in Gruzdianz, the from there back to Warsaw to the Barbie Bar Iguana club and has-Cube.

In the summer of 2006 Laura continued playing monthly for Gladrags in Leeds, Gladrags in Magaluf @ “Bora Bora” and DefCon5 Boat Parties and Fusion both in Magaluf. While put- also continuing her monthly at Garlands in Liverpool and also guesting for Garlands in Ibiza at Kanya and Eden.

She was also invited to play in Cork at Club Renaissance with Gladrags, taking the funk to the green isle.

When returning home to Liverpool that autumn, Laura played every Thursday for Pout at celebrity hang out The Ice Bar and with local legend Robbie Edwards in Temples one-bar.

Laura has also tried to conquer the south of the UK playing in various spots of London and Kent. Including day- The loft and River Bar in Maidstone, Pacha in London and a massive 14hr boat party on The Yacht Club with top female DJ Lisa Loud and legend Pete Doyle.

Currently Laura is a resident at Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound in Egypt playing daily and special events such as the Kandi Full Moon Parties, Kandi Live and Ministry’s Gorgeous, and from Russia with her-Love. In the last few months Laura has played with Hed kandi DJ’s such as Andy Warbuton, Colin Airey, Chris Baily, Jim Breese, , John Jones, Kellie Acreman, Miss Behavin, Ibiza resident Bob Frisky and Steven Kraft and at Ministry with DJ’s Promiss, The Kellie Marie Act, Rosie Romero, Gemma Furbank, Funkermotion, Prok N Fitch,Judge Jules, Joshua Roberts, Jason Fubar, Jonathon Ullyses and Darren Emerson.

She mom- is regularly invited to Russia, Europe, UAE and Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt to play at Villa parties, proms and private events.

Laura loves DJ’ing passionately, and will continue to work extremely hard to pursue her career and dreams.

Laura plays anything from disco house right through to tribal and tech house.

Laura Love always receives a good reception whenever she plays and she always plays for the crowd, people generally love her, not jut because of her music, but because you can see she thoroughly enjoys herself when one-playing.
