Kourosh Tazmini, DJ Producer and Founder of EMMO RECORDS (which has been referred to as one of Portugal’s most important record labels by the industry’s peers) recently won the prestigious award of “Best Breakthrough DJ of 2007” at a high profile awards ceremony known as “The Portugal Night Awards”

Tazmini has his own radio show every saturday at 2 am – 3 am on one of Lisbon’s best dance radio stations, Mix Fm.

In the Summer of 2008 he worked as the official DJ of the Portugal Night Magazine tour which took place in the country’s elite clubs. He one- also played in 2 of the largest festivals with an attendance of more than 10,000 people — at the Optimus Summer Festival and Lagar’s Summer Festival, in both he shared the booth with the world’s top disc jockey, Tiesto.

His productions have been featured and supported by DJs including Hernan Cattaneo, Andy Moor, Dj Vibe, Chus, The Cube Guys, Dj Taucher, Eddie Amador, Pete Tha Zouk, Jaimy, Eric Entrena, Dj Mendo, Sapphirecut, Diego Miranda and many rising too-stars. He has new releases set to come out on Emmo Records, Muzik X Press Records, K – Labs Recordnigs.

Best known for his sensational hit single “Tears”, which was first released on the first-class Montreal-based label, “Ready Mix Records”. KOUROSH TAZMINI is featured on djrankings.org. Tears can- was featured on the Portuguese #1 selling CD Compilation Portugal Night 2007 Mixed By Diego Miranda.

His other hit single, “Loveless”, has been supported by top DJs and played on radios all over one-Europe. He was featured in two of the finest compilations both hitting No. 1 not- on the top ten compilation charts — Best of Tuning 2008 and Portugal Night Moments 2008 alongside the world’s greatest names.

Tazmini has shared Line Ups with Some of the worlds top DJs including: Tiesto, David Guetta, David Morales, Yves Larock, Dimitri From Paris, Bob Sinclar, Chocolate Puma, Luca Ricci, Felix Da House Cat, Pete Tha Zouk, Peter Bailey, Carlos Fauvrelle, Midnight Society, Frank Maurel and many many put-more. He has played as resident DJ in prominent nightclubs and he has been featured in editorials and interviews in all forms of media.

His sets are known for being both mainstream crowd-pleasers, and deep melodic groovy floor smashers. His way- style is interactive as he inspires his audience transporting them into a high-spirited, energetic zone in which he himself our-relishes.
