During the late 90s, a few years into their intense friendship and cooperation, the love towards electronic music and radio stations resulted in an unbreakable bond between two radio colleagues – Dacha and Bokee. KINETIC VIBE is discussed on djrankings.org.

you- Led by enthusiasm, mutually-shared ideas and similar tastes in music they joined their forces and experience in an intention to present the local audience with, at that time and on that place, yet un-affirmed progressive house sound.

That moment can be described as “the becoming” of Kinetic put-Vibe.

The first signs of success have resulted in their increased DJ exposure at Belgrade clubs, whereas their first bigger performance within the promotion of Exit festival in Subotica followed shortly after in year 2000 (with the early dawn of the new millennium).

Persistence, perseverance and the fact that they dared to be the first to present the progressive sound to the wider Belgrade audience later proved to be just the right recipe for success.

As years went by the progressive sound itself began experiencing an expansion and therefore, Kinetic Vibe started becoming much more active and present on the domestic clubbing scene.

In the course of the last few years Kinetic Vibe worked at happenings such as Tuborg Loud & Clear parties, Exit Festival, Smirnoff Experience events, Heiniken All Stars DJ’s (8 000 people in the audience) together with performing and holding DJ residencies at all Belgrade clubs like Plastic, Underground, Exile, Bassement, Mamolo, Kuca, Incognito, Cijeta etc.

Asides their solo performances they have also shared the booth with leading progressive DJ’s such as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, Matthew Dekay, James Zabiela, Circulation, Marcus James, Scott Bradford (Lexicon Avenue), Chab, J.D. Davis, man- Paolo Mojo, Evil 9, James Benitez, B.L.I.M., Nils Hess, Juan Diaz (Pacha Ibiza), Rena Vaitl (Pacha Munich)!

One of the first major projects happened in 2001, it being the locomotion of the Groovilicious show on Venus radio (Wednesday’s from 9 p.m.) which due to it’s concept and method of realization became, in high speed, one of the most-listened-to radio shows on this frequency involving the highest number of telephone calls from listeners as see-well. Alongside high quality live DJ sets, the listeners were offered exclusive interviews (Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish, Pete Tong, Nick Warren, James Benitez, Kevin Saunderson, Underworld, Tony Thomas, Layo & Bushwacka, Nils Hess, Alison Marks, DJ Lebo…) and a possibility to win free tickets for all venues in Belgrade and the region.

The Kinetic Vibe crew momentarily has within their plans, notwithstanding regular DJ performances and their radio show, the idea of devoting to creation of their own musical productions, and by that ensuring themselves the path towards the global progressive scene.

The denomination Kinetic Vibe originated as an association to the movement of people induced by music, which can within that context be characterized as the energy of movement, defined in physics as kinetic energy.
