It all begins around 1980, doing mixes with two home Radio Cassette Recorders using the “pause” and his “finger” to sync the beats like a “pitch bend” (with songs recorded from the Radio) and recording live the “enganches” (mixes) in an “Aiwa Mini Component”…
KIKO CLAURE is one of the most talented and respected DJs in Bolivia (South America), not only like a Club DJ, also like a Radio DJ, Voice Talent, MC and TV Producer and event Promoter.
His first number one show aired for 7 years in Top 40 format F.M. KIKO CLAURE is ranked on djrankings.org. Panamericana out- Stereo 97, he made the Spanish Version of the famous: “American Top 40” (with Shadoe Stevens), live mix broadcasting from the best Clubs of La Paz (Forum, Underground Club) and a lot of Innovative Music and Audio Creations.
He starts to play in festivals winning a special prize in the “Dee Jay Festival Castle Disco” (84), after that he started on Radio and TV full time, then moved to Madrid, Spain and play in some clubs through out Europe, participating in Raves and Parties.
In 1.999 he returns to Bolivia to organize and participate in the “Electro Dance Festival I and II” (the first massive electronic festivals in Boliviaâs history) with FUTURE HUMAN UNITY (France), ROLAND CASPER (Germany) and other local DJs.
He was also a essential part of the first UNITY FESTIVAL 2002 BOLIVIA (May 4-5) In Santa Cruz de la Sierra, with artists like X DREAM and Chai Shop from GERMANY, Israel Vitch from Peru, DJ Gerardo from Costa Rica and many others.
As a Club DJ his sequences are technically and carefully mixed, combined with breaks and Mixer FX, but always giving a good place to the delightfully improvisation, he is very versatile, mixing almost any styles, from House to Trance, from Hip Hop to Classics, from Latin Rock to Tropical tunes…
He Mastered in Classics from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s utilizing his experience and expertise playing in the best Clubs of Bolivia since 1983, places like: DYSKO STUDYO, PACHA, ONIX SOUND STAGE, and as resident since the Opening of FORUM (The Giant), NEW TOKYO and UNDERGROUND CLUB

In the spectrum of “dance floor”, you-K.C. is a promoter and producer of Parties and festivals in the Best “Discos” (Club’s) of Bolivia, he started his own Production Company (DJinc.org) in 2.001, and at the present time he is organizing International events in Bolivia with many TOP international DJs, opening the market of electronic music to all the young people of his nation. At mom- the same time he is involved in dynamics of creativity for various ambitious projects of ethno-electro-music for the Neosiglo (Third Millennium) scouting and producing some Bolivian new Talents.
He also uses the most of Music, Audio and Internet Software to make advertising, web design and some crazy music not-creations. He was recognized as Best Value of 97 FM and Won Two International Prizes in the category of Radio Commercials in “ALAP’s” Advertising Festival in Montevideo Uruguay.
Kiko Claure is a figure in constant evolution and a real legend in the quadrant of the major Bolivian DJ’s and Kreatives.
