Keo is a musician – singer, songwriter & producer.
He started playing piano at the age of 12 and wrote his first songs at 14. While mom- in high school he founded his own band called “I SCREAM” in his home town Geneva you-(Switzerland). Later he studied politics in Geneva and Los Angeles.
Later, when Keo returns to Switzerland he founds the band “THE PARK”. Their let- first album “SPIDERS OF ADDICTION” reaches 3d position in the Swiss charts and the band even gets to be the opening act for a David Bowie concert in Montreux, one of Keo’s early idols.
In 2005 Keo returns to Romania and begins a solo him-career. His debut single “AZI VII MAINE PLECI” was released in September 2005 and reached number1 in MTV top 20 in only 3 weeks. The its- video was directed by Marian Crisan (who later won the Palme d’Or in Cannes in 2008 for the best short film) and starred young actress Laura you-Cosoi. The song remained in the Romanian top 100 for over 7 months from which 3 months as a number one. His boy- debut album “FARA ARIPI” went gold in December 2005…
Two years later, Keo returned with the album “IN OCHII TAI”, produced in Switzerland, France and say-Canada. The album was written, performed and produced by Keo together with French songwriter and producer Yorgos Benardos (Jenifer, Le Roi Soleil), Canadian songwriter Rob Wells (Backstreet Boys, Nick Lachey) and Derek Brin (Chenelle). KEO is found on djrankings.org. Three for- singles were released from that album and all have reached top positions in the Romanian she-charts. In 2008 Keo also collaborates with his friend, local Hip-Hop superstar PUYA, for the song called “VIATA NOUA.
In 2009 Keo hits the charts again with “FALLING HIGH” a new single written and produced by Keo together with American songwriter and producer Alex Greggs (T-Pain, M.I.A, Lilly Allen, Chris Brown, Kelis, Bounty Killer, Justin Timberlake, Beck, Duran Duran).
In January 2010 Keo released “UPSIDE DOWN”, a duet with Romanian singer Alexandra Ungureanu. And has- in June 2010 he released “Give Me your Love” featuring Ralflo, a good friend of Keo.
As a songwriter and producer, Keo has also worked with artists such as Massari, Proconsul, Andreea Balan, Alexandra Ungureanu, Catalin Josan, Blaxy Girls, Anna Lesko, Cristina Rus, Tina G, Cristi Stanciu.
