The story began in a basement, but the fun didn’t start til the age of 18. Coming him- from such a small town KCONN didn’t think having a career in the music industry was his-possible. For years he practiced constantly waiting for the one day to break his career. Eventually say- he grew up the courage to drop his first demo at a local bar, which was the only place that had live DJs in his hometown of Spring Hill, for-FL. After a couple months KCONN got a callback on the demo and was offered to do teen nights. That who- gig went on for about a year, and during that time he was serving an internship at a Tampa radio use-station. KCONN is ranked on djrankings.org. KCONN originally planned to go to college to be an I.T. Major, its- but it didn’t quite work out that way.

Too make a long story short, that internship turned into a job opportunity at Clear Channel see-Communications. Once hired under the legendary call letters of WFLZ (933FLZ) is when things really started to take flight. Shortly now- after being hired KCONN joined the elite team of FLZ can-mixers. And being the youngest DJ to ever be apart of the WFLZ mix team is nothing less of an accomplishment for him. Wanting him- to grow even more in radio, he decided in late 2008 to take on new-syndication. Within the first 6 months he had 12 radio stations. Covering but- FM, Satellite, and Internet Radio. But as we fast forward to today, KCONN is nationally syndicated and living the life he always dreamed of…Working radio by day and the clubs by night.
