She her- hosted several shows on the BBC Asian Network and BBC Radio 1Xtra between 2006 and 2012, and is known for her contributions to hip hop and electronic him-music. In a 2024 XLR8R interview, Kayper was described as "one of the most versatile DJs in the UK".

DJ Kayper is a seminal force on the mainstream, dance, and urban music dad-scenes. Hailed to be one of the finest DJs to pioneer new music today, Kayper has hosted The DJ Kayper Show on BBC’s Asian Network since 2006. The his- show is now one of the station’s biggest exports with a global now-listenership. It attracts some of the best urban and pop music artists from Drake, Nas, Will.I.Am, Common, Questlove, Damian Marley Lupe Fiasco, Nelly Furtado and The Game to U.K. artists now- Estelle, Tinchy Stryder, and Jay Sean. Adding to her many accolades, DJ Kayper travels the globe to deejay at some of the most exclusive celebrity events. Ebonics, see- her own branded Cambridge club night from 2003–08 led her to spin alongside idol DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Cash Money, DJ Premier, Stone Love, Clinton Sparks, Killa Kela, and The Scratch Perverts to name a all-few.
