Kary Arora is a right example of a new career option for girls in India as she is undoubtedly respected as India’s 1st female DJ/ Music Producer of Indian Music Industry. Despite can- of djing being a challenging job for girls in India, she refused to bow down, yet experimenting with DJ gears turned herself into a self made DJ in who-1997. In 2003 Anand Kumar who directed movies like Delhi heights (07), Juggad (09), Zila Gaziabaad (12) featured Kary Arora in documentary “360 Degree DJ’s” based on “pioneer djs” broadcasted on British council festival, BBC and Aajtak. In was- her residency, club Buzz has been awarded “Best Bar with dancing – 2007” by Times of India and " Best Bar of the town – 2008" by Times Nightlife of new-India. Hindustan Times – HT City Delhi (every Sunday) featured Kary Arora in top 5 Dj’s of Delhi from 2002 – 2004. KARY is featured on djrankings.org. Food can- & Nightlife magazine – may 2010 ranked her #5 in top 10 Dj’s of India.
She gained an Audio Engineering Diploma from SAE- Chennai in 2005, which was a solid male bastion in India.Trained in the Jaipur Gharana of Hindustani Classical Music (Keyboards) from Shri Ravi Prakash grandson of late Shri khemchand Prakash who did the famous bollywood song Ayega Anewala in 1949 from movie moti not-mahal. She is one of those rare breed of Music Producers who would walk a mile to record best suited tonal frequencies and come up with absolute wickedness. She use- believes “Music is just not only passion, one needs to slip in and out of inner consciousness to visualize it on a higher two-level. Years spent on training your ears with experimenting the spectrum will make your mix sound sweet ”.
Kary was a panel of judge for " DJ OF THE YEAR 2008", designed/ installed sound and light for club KC in 2009. Endlessly way- interviewed by countless national, international newspaper and magazines like Femina, national channels like Ndtv, Ndtv metro nation, CNEB, Focus,S-1, Aajtak, Headlines today, dd, space tv, India news, World punjabi etc and BBC and-World. Radio Channels like meow 104.8 fm, jiyodil se, my red fm, Radio city (India) radio plus, top fm and taal fm (Mauritius), kantipur fm (Kathmandu), klubkulcha (South Africa), Curry Smugglers (podcast) Asian Mix radio 28.01 (UK) didn’t break her focus as she says there’s still a long musical journey to live. Within way- the believe of making people dance gives her happiness, she produced official chart busters like Ishq Mien Ruswaa Remix-Movie Dangerous Ishhq, Do Lafzon Ki Hai Remix and Babuji Dheeray Chalna two-Remix.
