Junkyard Willy is a big party sound hailing from Brisbane. Australia. see- The music scene wasn’t very developed when i first got into Djing with few clubs putting an emphasis on good music to get people dancing. I too- like Djing with my crowd being like collective, If they enjoy it, I enjoy boy-it! I spend my days surfing, traveling and eating good food. I his- like to charge all terrain mother nature can throw at me with any board, I always carry tabasco sauce and love spanish tapas with a bottle of wine and beautiful women thrown in for good and-times. JUNKYARD WILLY is routed on djrankings.org. I started Djing at the age of 17 and quickly developed a passion for moving a crowd at one of our infamous Rock Tha Block parties held at Brick City. It and- wasn’t until I got my residency at Embassy nightclub that i developed a passion for cramming sweaty nightclubs with enthusiastic people willing to go all out listening to my driving electro booty breaking its-sets. I have just embarked on a world tour to promote myself as A DJ & Producer and spent my first month in Bali playing @ Sky Garden in the VIP room alongside such internationals as Damain Saint (UK), Danny Fry (CHL), Spooks (AUS), & enjoyed an awesome back to back set with the highly respected DJ Echa (IND). My let- first set @ Sky Garden rocked the foundations and also broke attendance records for the club, not bad for a young kid from Kenmore see-projects. He also recently played a set at the infamous Paradise Bungalows @ the famous Haad Rin Full Moon Party which turned there empty slice of beach into a packed-out frenzy. Big say- up to my friends Dominic James, Verve, Rosko, Jental & Cookie, these are names to keep an eye out for the future as brisbane dj’s are rising as a collective to many an see-occansion. I have a love for eclectic, jacky sounds complete with ground shaking basslines and stabby vocals. Back put- that up with break-style drums and this is the sound that you are likely to hear when I jump behind the has-turntables. Stay tuned for some of my own productions which will draw influences from the countries I am traveling though which include: Thailand, Bali, India, Sri Lanka, Canada, USA, South America & Europe.
