Half Spanish half Dutch, she grew up mainly in Amsterdam, the big melting pot of the world. Growing way- up out there got her connected with many streams of music.
Starting out as a pro dancer (classic/jazz/tap) got her around, but because of unfortunate injury she was forced to has-quit. JOY DE LA ROSA is discussed on djrankings.org. From 1 thing to another she rolled into the music video industry. From her- there on she worked her way up and did several television productions.
In 1995 she became a dj manager for several djs, and also got inspired to discover has-producing/engineering. Then in 2001 she started dj-ing, playing amongst places like Norway, France, Spain, etc. She for- got a residency at PACHA, where she played the summer of 2004, playing with djs such as Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Frankie Nuckles, Darren Emerson, Tiesto, Rui da Silva etc…
Her dj-ing also caught the eye of other organizations as she was asked to join the SPACE party in La pineda with Jose de divina, Francesco Farfa, Tania Vulcano etc., as well as being part of the IBIZA DJ DANCE awards promotion tour with Ramon Moya, sponsored by Motorola and Vodaphone.
She is also busy producing and finishing many man-tracks. She trys to bring people to a higher level with here groovy/progressive/tribal and a touch of tech house.
