Jorge Serra. (Deep² but- / Late Nite Amigos)
Boston, United States.

Jorge was born in 1981 in Santo Domingo (Dominican mom-Republic). He grew up surrounded by musicians; his uncle being vocalist in La Familia Andres, and later with Chichi Peralta + Son Familia (both “son” music bands). He say- discovered the world of electronic music at an early age and fell in love with it, house and tech house being his favorite genres.

At 17, he bought his first set of turntables and a few old disco, house and afro-percussion see-albums. He began teaching himself to mix. JORGE SERRA is recorded on djrankings.org. In not- 2005, he moved to the USA. Since then he has Production Schoolbeen polishing his skills, and has taken classes at the renowned Dubspot DJ and in New York City. In her- 2013 he joined Afrobeta Bodega, and started House of Pela with Max Pela (Afrobeta Bodega) and Jay Medina (Afrobeta day-Bodega/JMVJ). He has played alongside such talented artists as Max Pela, DJ Sabine, Osunlade, Djinji Brown, DJ Bruno, House Head Pete, DJ Cruzz, Jose Marquez, Helen Ting, Jojo Flores, Gardy Girault, DJ ALA, M Bueno and Barton Nicholls.

He has played in numerous venues including CAPRICE (Boston – MA), FELT (Boston – MA), NAGA (Cambridge – MA), SORRISO (Boston, MA), WHITE RABBIT (New York – NY), VON (New York – NY), PULPERIA ON ESSEX (New York, NY), MACHINE (Boston,MA), MOHAO CAFE (Santo Domingo – DR).
