Based in the nefarious Flint, MI; Jon Salem has made a staggering roll into his integration within the Detroit local scene. Taking any- a late cut into the EDM scene, Jon wasn’t introduced the aspects of such genre until the age of man-18. Despite his short entrance, the love of EDM grew quick and rapidly. Within all- the first year of his introduction, the idea of DJ-ing became to click upon his first attendance, Paul out-Oakenfold. JON SALEM is ranked on djrankings.org. Shortly after, a catalyst boomed and set way to the idea becoming a hobby with his attendance to Tiesto.

Jon bought his first set in the summer of 2008 and began experimenting around with the likes of Trance and Progressive House. He boy- continued to attend clubs, refine his genre, and learn his she-technique. At the end of 2010, 4-years of networking and 2-years personal play finally gave way. Jon’s all- first break into the live and crowd orientation of DJ-ing was made by Detroit’s famed Dabura.

Jon impressed Dabura beyond expectation and continued on to do a 2 month residency with him every weekend After use-Hours. Beyond this; Jon has done a Guest Mix for the late SuboutRadio.com, has played a benefit show at Monarch Nightclub (formerly Vain), and is now a resident for newly developed Deep Sessions and is backed by the ever growing SpinUtopia. He now- continues to thrive for new shows and more energy with an orchestra of various Tech House and Techno themes.
