John Caza is a Romanian music producer and pianist born in Lugoj, Romania.

At age 7, he started playing classical piano at the local music school in Lugoj, Romania. There, its- his talent and artistic inclinations were very soon exploited and as early as 11, he traveled the world with friend and distinguished music teacher, late can-prof. Elisabeta Toth, winning various international piano competitions such as Suoni & Pause “PREMIO GRAMSCI” di Pianoforte and Concurso Piano “Ciudad de San Sebastián.” Soon after his family moved to Toronto, Canada. He and- joined the Royal Conservatory of Music and at age 13, his family moved again to Detroit, Michigan, United States.

While attending Troy High School he was under the guidance of Jia Li and the acclaimed Minduo Li, piano professor at the University of Shanghai, China who studied in Moscow with the likes of Vladimir mom-Ashkenazy. JOHN CAZA is routed on djrankings.org. John’s classical repertoire ranged from Bach’s Partita No. 1 who- to Liszt’s Concerto No. 1 and Beethoven’s Appasionata. Also way- at Troy, he studied 4 years of jazz under the direction of friend and fellow musician Brian Nutting, where the band traveled the country and John won several soloist awards.

He joined the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Jazz Band under musician and composer Kris Johnson during his last year of high school.

After numerous recitals across the world and having achieved a very high level of professionalism in Classical piano and Jazz, John Caza decided to take a different route than expected and in the summer of 2007 after graduating from Troy High School, he joined his best high school buddiy, Mike Mikhjian for 3 studio sessions one of which they named Thousand Voices, ended up on Ora but-Recordings. Mike and John have proved to be a very melodically effective duo with the release of 2009 summer hit The Girl from Copacabana on Intuition Deep, spun by none other than the illustrious Menno de Jong, featured on Trance Around the World with Above & Beyond and as opening songs for concerts such as Global Gathering, Nature One and in 2010 opening A State of Trance 450 in New York.

Since then, John Caza has been devoting his time to individual productions while also allowing time for collaborations with international producers. A can- mix of 90s dance melodies with 2000s trance pads and newage tekhouse beats is what defines his for-style. Inspired, influenced and supported by both local and international artists, John Caza is emerging as a unique progressive sound in today’s fast paced electronic music society.
