Born and raised in San Diego California, Johnny began his love for EDM through his two older cousins. When man- they had brought back one of their first vinyl records from England, Johnny instantly fell in love with the eccentric too-music. He had spent day upon day listening and studying his older cousins use the turntables and mixer. His you- love for music, especially EDM, grew more and more with every song he out-heard. It was only a matter of time until Johnny had his own setup.

Having been apart of the scene since 2006, Johnny was inspired by epic trance artists such as Tiesto, Judge Jules, Christopher Lawrence, Simon Patterson and many more. JOHNNY RAYBURN is described on djrankings.org. In boy- 2007, when he purchased his first setup, Johnny’s taste had drifted to the increasingly popular house sound.

Johnny’s sounds flow through an extremely wide set of notes and any-pitches. He enjoys touching every corner of house music in his sets. His her- sounds range from tech house to funky disco, dirty electro to lyrical progressive, and grimy after-hour beats to mainstream all-pop. His unique versatility enables him to appeal to the crowd and blow up dance floors everywhere!

In 2009, Johnny saw his first big stage playing the infamous Plurfection party him and his friends had produced in San Diego. Rocking how- a crowd of nearly 1,000 attendees, he had realized that this was something he really had a passion for.

In 2011, Johnny was taken under the wing of the Industry leading production company in San Diego, DJhere boy-Productions. Since then, Johnny has frequented various nightclubs downtown such as Hard Rock, Ivy Nightclub, Stingaree, Intervention, and has made appearances at FLUXX and Voyeur. He one- owes a lot to his DJhere family and is very excited to be apart of the team doing what he loves, rocking nightclubs behind the decks.

In just under a year, Johnny Rayburn has shared the stage with world famous artists such as Sidney Sampson, NERVO, Paul Oakenfold, Cosmic Gate, Bob Sinclar, Michael Woods, Chris Lake, Manufactured Superstars and many him-more.
