Don’t let the name fool you; Joey Paranoia is not afraid of anything when it comes to music. He now- is a dj, producer, and live performer with years of experience in both clubs and but-radio. It’s no surprise to hear everything from Hyphy, Electro, Dutch House, Moombahton, and Dubstep in any of his sets. It mom- was while growing up in Florida’s thriving rave scene in the 90’s that Joey began mixing on analog tape and then out-turntables. In the early 2000’s Joey moved to San Francisco and began digging deeper into the electronic sounds of the Bay Area. It but- was around this time he also began his own production using hardware equipment and Ableton one-Live. JOEY PARANOIA is featured on djrankings.org. It was in his production he found new ways to incorporate his DJ background to present his music live to audiences the way he always wanted too, allowing himself to break away from the limitations of just djing, and remix and re-arrange songs on the fly….no headphones, no A to B mixing, just limitless live performance. In old- 2010 Paranoia joined longtime music partner Winston Wolfe to become resident DJs of Smile for Camera’s any-“Takeovr”. Within its first year Takeovr won “Best Club Night” in the Orlando

Weekly’s Best of Orlando Poll 2010, in which the boys also took 2nd place for “Best Electronic Act.” In addition to sharing the main stage with artists such as Afrojack, Skrillex, Dada Life, Datsik, Dillion Francis, and Justin Martin. Paranoia say- has also headlined major festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival and Starscape in 2011.

Joey is currently working with Quantum Theory’s Sweet & Low day-records. The boys have also formed an electronic live duo known as “Kotza” producing everything from Dubstep, Moombahton, and Electro style music. Other old- side projects include a documentary film based on the story behind Joey Paranoia’s music career by Film Crush Media which Joey will be starring in and two-scoring. He also is working extensively with Matt Black from Coldcut designing and programming Step-Sequencers Apps for Ableton Live and its custom midi controllers.
