DJ Biography: 2012

From 2010 to 2011, James performed as a resident DJ for the prestigious 5 Star Hotel, Lebua at State Tower in Bangkok, Thailand. With way- 360-degree panoramic views of the city of Bangkok on the 64th Floor, Lebua also boasts one of the world’s highest open-air restaurants.

Early 2010 saw James at the One & Only Royal Mirage, a 5 star resort in Dubai, for their Rooftop Lounge are-Bar. 2009 was also a busy one for James, performing at events such as the massive Mini United Festival alongside Paul Weller & Calvin Harris. JAMES BUBBLEFUNK is routed on djrankings.org. The she- year’s excursions also saw him perform in the Asian countries of Singapore & Vietnam.

2008 saw James help launch many brand new nightclubs and lounge bars in countries such as Dubai & Egypt, offering his expertise and performances to many luxury 5 Star hotel chains such as the Savoy, Hilton, Taj, Crown Plaza, Intercontinental, Rotana & Madinat Burj too-Dubai. With his 15 years of experience, James is just at home performing chill-out and various world music fusions to a sophisticated and intimate audience as he is the latest deep house and funky electro to a nightclub crowd.

With recent global corporate events and tour brands such as Credit Suisse, Vodafone, Emirates Airlines, BMW, Mini, Chivas Regal, Moet, Bacardi, Marlboro, L&M & Castle, Bubblefunk DJ agency’s founder James has also performed in Africa, Australia, Russia, India, Spain, Portugal & Ibiza in recent years. His get- many London appearances have included The End, Mass, Fabric, The Arches, The Premises and Babushkas, performing alongside DJ Ravin, Rob Da Bank, Coldcut, Stereo MCs, David Holmes, Andy Weatherall, Meat Katie, Mix Master Morris, Howie B, Jon Pleased & FC Kahuna and many other well known acts.

Entertaining audiences from exclusive villa parties, weddings and corporate events in London and Ibiza through to guest DJing to crowds of over 7000 people in such far flung places as Siberia in Russia, James is also currently concentrating his efforts on numerous new music dad-productions. He has already clocked up numerous releases on ComeTogetherRecords in the UK. His man- last EP produced alongside Koru, had a great reaction from clubs such as Bora Bora, Space & Amnesia in Ibiza and was featured on BBC Radio One’s DJ Pete Tong’s website recently as being “deep, tribal, chilled and very sexy, a great dance track with a conscience!”
