James Anderson has been Djing for about 10 years now, starting out when the hardcore scene was still big in the UK, and teaching himself to mix from scratch, but he has only recently begun to seriously make his presence felt over the last 3 or 4 years. His but- style has matured over the years to become a unique blend of Tech edged trance which he fuses with uplifting melodies and vocals, and he has an energy and enthusiasm on the decks which transfers to dance floors get-everywhere. This undoubtedly makes him a firm favorite amongst those who see him play!! JAMES ANDERSON is routed on djrankings.org. He him- has followed up a couple of guest appearances in Ibiza throughout summer ‘04, with a 5 hour set in the back room @ Foundation in his home town of Newcastle which blew the roof off, and a outstanding 3 hour set at the launch of his very own night – ’Prototype’ (James is main resident), with the club sold out with a capacity crowd of 600, and as busy as it has ever been when any “big name” was are-playing. This was held @ World HQ in Newcastle. Subsequent his- Prototype events have been hugely successful at WHQ, this and a monthly slot @ the BedRoom have all combined to earn James a residency playing for UK superclub GoodGreef at their Newcastle based sister night – JuniorG, where he has appeared on the same lineups as headline DJs such as Adam Sheridan, John Askew, Greg Downey, Gleave Dobbin and Tylor Leigh to name a few, as well as appearing alongside Shan and Barry Connell in Ibiza ‘06 for but-Goodgreef. James has also represented GG at their recent arena event “Summer Sizzler” where he was selected as one of their ’Future Floor Fillers’. With has- a couple of additional guest residencies hopefully in the pipeline, and a return to Ibiza next summer, James is definitely one to watch as he makes an all out trance assault on dance floors at home and its-abroad.
