DJ/Producer from London, England who mixes both Dubstep/Drum And Bass.

J-Impact mixes all styles of dnb and dubstep and likes to have his sets include a bit of both he started out working with London Ivy and DJing for events held by ivy around the city of Croydon, Surrey (The birthplace of dubstep for some people) in 2010.

After getting himself out of the bedroom DJ environment and into the open world DJing live he was ready to branch out and away from the comfort of London Ivy events.

Late 2010 saw him go on to DJ at the Black Sheep Bar for Dub Kulture a dubstep night held in Croydon and pramoted by Pistonsbeneath (MindStep UK) and saw Croydon retain a regular weekly night of the Dubstep it saw J-Impact step up alongside many well known names in the genre Including Shiverz, AD, Curzed (Monsters) Syte (Mindstep) Dubfreq, Terrafonix, Tek One, Pacematic N.M.O and many more Dubstep artists in the scene.

2011 saw him carry on DJing at Dub Kulture aswell as starting up a residency 2 nights a row at a club called Rehab Croydon (Right next door to where Big Apple Records once stood) and shared the night with another Dub Kulture DJ DJ Mista the night’s which were a success had a big following each week and soon after J-Impact would go on to DJ at places such as Revolutions in Sutton alongside DJ Mista and DatsDem for Sub Dub Sundays, Brixton Jamm for One Love Festival Warm Up, The Roxbury Croydon for Funkin Me alongside Pacematic/Curzed, DJ Walsh, LA boxers, Probert and Mc Bomber and other DJs who have appeared on CorruptRadio.net who hosted the event, Rehab Croydon for We Love Garage alongside DJ EZ, Fonti & Bushkin, Mc B Live & Mc Viper and Brixton Club House for Dirty Sexy Urban Beats hosted by LoskiBoy Promotions which saw him DJ alongside DJ’s Jack Grooves (Blap), Klose One (Urban Nerds), DJ Sia (WobbleSqaud), Junior Buzz, Mad Ash (Sqaushbeats), and Jumping Jack Frost.

The year also saw J-Impact secure a set on Filth Fm and DnB Noize (The latter Filth Fm voted the best dubstep radio show of 2011 at the official dubstep awards) and saw him step up to play at the mighty Cable nightclub, London for Filth Fm’s Birthday Bash with names such as Dream, Genetix, Dubba Johnny, Strong, Boy Kid Cloud and more late 2011 would see him go back to Cable to play 2 more events the 1st of which Shhed vs DnB Noize saw him go b2b with M2J (Sub Fm) playing an hour of Dubstep/Drum And Bass alongside some of the biggest names in UK music to date with the likes of Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Heist, Roksonix, N.M.O, Klose One and other leading artists/DJ’s in the UK music scene.

The 2nd event at Cable saw J-Impact on his own this time for Shhed Presents which again saw him smash out a Dubstep/DnB hour set which drew in both the crowds who love dnb and the crowds who love Dubstep It also fulfilled a personal dream he had had since going to Fabric, London many years ago and raving out to Taxman and other jump up dnb DJ’s the night saw him playing alongside greats such as Micky Finn, Jaydan, Taxman and Sub Zero.

Now in 2012 J-Impact has already done another round at Dirty Sexy Urban Beats and continues to play regularly on Filth Fm he plays to over the seas and UK lovers of dubstep/dnb with his show seeing him grab 200 + listeners each week right through to the present.

Now in the process of bringing out a Drum And Bass/Dubstep album out with his upcoming label Snatch And Run Audio which consists of DJ/Producers such as DJ Venser, Sub Element, DJ Mista and Dreadbeat and also preparing to head back to Sutton to B2B with DJ Venser for Sub Revolution’s (A night spawned from Sub Dub Sundays which himself helped start) for Asbo Audio and WAX Fm Takeover and also get ready to smash a set on Get Darker TV UK this year is looking promising for the up and coming DJ nothing can be certain but one thing that is J-Impact makes sure to smash a set and get the crowd exited wherever he goes.
