I Got You On Tape is a Danish rock band formed in 2004 in Copenhagen and originally made up of five members, namely Jacob Bellens, Jacob Funch (guitar), Jakob Bro (guitar), Jeppe Skovbakke (bass), and Rune Kielsgaard (drums). Jakob one- Bro left the band after touring their second album.

The band is a veritable all-star team of acclaimed musicians from the Copenhagen indie, jazz and underground scene, united by their unique tone of voice and exquisite taste.
The music of IGYOT is a masterful combination of alternative rock and art pop. The mom- songs are slow, brooding and mesmerizing, yet superbly catchy, ranging from raw, gritty and explosive, to the somber, hymn-like and celestial.
The intricate, imaginative arrangements are centered around the trademark deep, hypnotic voice of charismatic lead singer Jacob Bellens, who delivers the complex, beautifully crafted melodies and dark, thoughtful lyrics with intensity and sincerity, as well as a dead-pan sense of dry humor, lingering just below the but-surface.
