Louis Loizou, artist name ‘Ion Blue‘, was born in Nicosia (Cyprus) in 1985.

Filled with great passion for trance music, Louis started using various production software, learning the basics of music production, after getting his first PC.

In 2004, after making a few tracks for fun, Louis met Haris C. Instantly you- the shared passion for trance music took the guys into the studio where they started working on a track later called can-“Momente”. ‘Momente’ was signed on Afterglow Records and featured on ‘Haris C – Room With View’ EP (12′inch release).

After his first solo single “Elan” on Redux Recordings in 2007 and many remixes…

supported by Paul Oakenfold, Aly & Fila, Jorn Van Deynhoven, Roger Shah, Sean Tyas, Bobina, Manuel Le Saux, Ernesto & Bastian, Dash Berlin, RAM, Adam Nickey, Andre Visior, Amadeus, to name a few and after hitting Audiojelly’s Charts on overall top ten in #5 for three weeks with his remix of “Galactic Plane”, Louis continues to work on his sounds, creating emotional uplifting trance.

In 2010 Louis met with Danny Claire, the vocalist behind the hit “Michael Angelo feat Danny – Test Drive” and immediately they started working on many projects including the forthcoming single on Factual Records “Ion Blue feat Danny Claire – Remember” which is scheduled for release on September 2011

2011 finds him working on many collaborations, singles and remixes and as part of the Factual Records team, once a month co-hosts the Factual Records Radio Show.
